  3. 1 kg Mutton(partially boiled)
  4. 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 4-5 Tomatoes diced
  6. 3 Potatoes diced
  7. 1 Cup Water
  8. 1 tsp Red chili powder
  9. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  10. 1/4 tsp Mace powder
  11. 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
  12. 1/2 packet Shaan Sindhi Biryani Masala
  13. to taste Salt
  14. 1 Star anise
  15. 4-5 Green cardamom
  16. 4-5 Cloves
  17. 2 Bay leaves
  18. 1/2 Cup Yoghurt
  19. 1/2 bunch mint leaves
  20. 6-8 green chillies
  21. 1 kg Rice Basmati (soaked 30 minutes and boiled with salt & whole spices)
  22. 2 tbsp Kewra water
  23. 1/4 tsp Yellow food color

Steps to make to make Mutton Biryani

  1. In a pot,add oil and onion,fry until golden brown.Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste,spices and pre boiled meat,cook for 5mins and add water.
  2. Cover and cook on low flame for sometime.Add potatoes and cook until meat and potatoes are fully done.
  3. Add yoghurt and cook, add kewra,podina leaves and green chillies
  4. In a separate pot put water with whole spices to boil rice.
  5. Now once the rice are boiled aik kanni,star in and put the rice layer over the already prepared masala and keep for dum,sprinkle food colour.
  6. In 15-20 mins they will be ready,serve with raita and enjoy
