- 20 gm Coconut powder
- 2 tsp Poppy seeds
- as required Whole spices mix
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 2 tsp Veg biryani masala powder
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 3-4 For garnish fried cashewnuts
- 10gm Crushed almonds
- 1Tsp Ghee
- 1/2 cup Green coriander chopped
- 3-4 raisins
- 1 cup Deep fried onions
- 1/2 cup Saffron milk
- 100 ml For chhachh: curd
- 1 tsp Mint powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 tsp Kala namak
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp Green chilli and green coriander paste
Steps to make to make Kathal biryani with pudina dhania chhachh
- First of all wash the rice and soak them for 30 mn

- Then cook the rice in sufficient water and add 2 bay leaves, cardemom, cloves, salt, lemon juice and some ghee.


- Remove rice from gas when they cooked 80 percent and drain them.


- Heat up the pan and add oil to it.


- Now add cumin seeds then ginger garlic paste.



- Then add onion paste, when the onions begin to golden add all the spices one by one.Now add tomatoes and salt to it.


- And add remaining ingredients.


- Deep fry the jackfruit pieces.And add them in masala.Now add some water to it to make thick greavy.Mix it well.



- Mix it properly.

- When it is done assemble the rice layer.

- In second layer add golden coloured onions, khada masala.Add veg biryani masala powder to it.



- Finally add golden onions, saffron milk, cashewnuts, ghee almonds, raisins and coriander leaves.

- Now cover the lid and coot it on low flame for 10 mn.


- Open the lid and garnish with cashewnuts, almonds, raisins, green and coriander leaves.

- For making chhachh mix curd and remaining ingredients and blend with water.
- Serve biryani with chhachh and riped mangoes.
