- In a bowl, put cooked rice, curd, milk and salt and mix well. Put it in the refrigerator to cool.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When they begin to splutter, add urad and chana dal and fry until golden.
- Add chopped green chilli, asafoetida and curry leaves. Remove from heat and put the tempering prepared to the curd and rice mixture.
- Mix well and serve cold.
- You may garnish it with pomegranate seeds, fried nuts, grapes.
